Free of exams for another year, well I've been free for a couple of weeks now, just took the opportunity to do absolutely nothing for a while. If you care, I think I've done well enough to stay on my course next year (i.e. over 60% for the last two years). Quantum Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics and the Maths exam went really well. The Maths Methods exam went well too, but that's because after looking at the past papers I worked out three topics that came up every year and I then memorised them, and I happened to memorise the proof that came up in the mathematical analysis question too, so I was able to answer all four questions pretty much entirely. Applications of Quanutm Mechanics was absolutely dire, but it was in the same exam as Electrons in Solids which is relatively easy so I think I've done okay in that exam, and Electromagnetism and Optics I think I managed to do fairly well in, although I couldn't answer the compulsory question in the EM section, oops.
Anyway, enough of that, I've been sticking around in London and watching a fair bit of the World Cup (although I only make sure I watch the England games) but I'm probably going to be going back to 'the shire' this weekend. For those of you that know me, know I've been wearing the same nike trainers for the past 3 or almost 4 years, and hence are looking a little tatty, I finally went out and got me some new Merrell trainers, though I'm probably gonna have to get a second pair to do sport in. I got bored and made a myspace page earlier today, so that's a myspace, a hi5, a msn profile and a facebook profile that I've made and then proceed to completely ignore, mayb I should put them in my collections section... Damn how I hate having to edit shitty generated code... btw the weakness refered to just there currently is oblivion, which I've gotta admit is pretty damn good, there's still a few problems carried through from Morrowind, but then again many of the problems Morrowind did have have been fixed (the shockingly bad combat system for one, and the endless pages of text to read for another), all I wish for is a decent third person camera that actually has a crosshair and third person animations for your character that are up to the same spec as the rest of the game, I know it's meant to be played first person, but that's no excuse to make the third person view so shocking.
