19:38 - 13/09/2009 - I lied
Well technically I wasn't lying at the time, because I hadn't done anything when I wrote that last entry - however I've just tweaked my little game project ZeroG. I made it detect your desktop resolution and then use that, rather than have it hard coded and you choose which version to download, a somewhat better solution I think!
I was going to try and add a resolution picker in the program itself, but I realised that after my experience with configing sites at Acturis I really need to recode the engine to allow for a far more streamlined production (as I would have had to add about 60+ lines of code in various different places when I could probably specify what I wanted in five). Having all the detail at your fingertips is fine when you're learning, in fact it's probably better, but when you just want to smack out the functionality abstractification sooo much better.
17:58 - 13/09/2009 - Yay for Sunday
Life's being pretty awesome to me at the moment, I'd love to share all but I think it's better to be coy about most of it. I can share that I went to see Muse last weekend and they were absolutely immense, I think I actually think I enjoyed it more than their wembly gig, mostly because I could really see them! Also extremely enjoyable was driving back from the concert at midnight through Devon roads with a co-driver giving directions and warnings for all speed cameras.
The only thing I could complain about now would be that what I normally do to entertain myself feels pale and bland compared to some of the europhia experienced recently, but I guess you need mediocrity to enjoy the good. Again a week has passed without me playing about with Reason or working on my game projects. Shucks.
